I learned many new and valuable skills from working on the assignment 5 powerpoint interaction. I have done many powerpoint presentations in the past, but none requiring me to make an interactive game. Honestly, this assignment did challenge my technology skills and I was not the biggest fan of the project. I spent many hours tediously making each slide with pictures, facts, and ensuring each part went together. At the end of the assignment, I was pleasantly surprised with how well it looked. In the future, I don't think I would refer to powerpoint to make an interactive game like this for my students, I would most likely use Kahoot or another similar platform. I think that surveys are a great way to assess student's feelings towards what they would like to see in the classroom. For my EME2040 course, I am currently enrolled in an online asynchronous section. I like that I have the ability to work on the class at my own pace, and can delegate time to it in between my in person classes which always me to have some flexibility in my schedule. On the opposing side, not having a set scheduled time to work on a class can be difficult and challenges me to prioritize my time. When I am a teacher, I think I could improve my students' classroom experience by giving them flexibility with assignments to work at their own pace to teach time management. I think the classroom experience can be beneficial as a flex option to give students the ability to learn in different ways as well.
